Chris Dixon, a lifelong native of the San Fernando Valley, began his 30 year career in Home Entertainment with the highly regarded Rogersound Labs,
a loudspeaker manufacturer and retailer. There he learned the business from the ground up through store management.
After numerous years
of successful retail sales and management with the most prominent regional chains, Chris accepted a position as a manufacturer’s sales rep
with Next Level Sales and Marketing to develop a Home Theater presence for the company in the territory.
After being recruited by several rep companies, Chris negotiated a position with WestWorld Marketing, a rep firm of over 15 years, as a partner and VP of Sales.
In addition to his sales responsibilities in the territory, Chris managed the daily operations of the company. His style of appraising the situation, creating
highly constructive relationships, evaluating and analyzing sales performance were recognized by both WWM and its vendors. Soon, numerous recognitions for
outstanding achievements were received from Audio Products Int. (Energy Loudspeakers), Triad Speakers and Panamax leading to Chris being promoted to President of WWM.
Within a year, Chris began the buy-out negotiations of WWM. The Chris Dixon Company, a manufacturers’ rep company, was formed on June 1, 2004, to serve the independent and custom dealers of Southern California area with the finest high-end home theater products.
Since the inception of the Chris Dixon
Company in June 2004, Terri Dixon’s role has been managing
and coordinating sales and communication.
Terri’s managerial experience was honed while serving as
Vice-President of Finance and Vice-President of Education
for the Toledo Symphony League where she was responsible for
managing hundreds of volunteers, and dozens of projects
requiring ongoing interaction with professional musicians,
top management in some of Toledo’s largest corporations,
logistics and public relations.
Terri went on to expand her business and entrepreneurial
experience by founding and directing two non-profit
corporations, The Toledo Youth Concert Band and the Home
Education League of Parents. She enlisted area leaders in
the fields of business, music and education to serve on the
boards of these organizations.
As a result of these activities she was in demand for
speaking engagements, as well as numerous interviews on
television, radio, and print media. She is articulate and
comfortable in front of large and intimate audiences and can
communicate easily with corporate officers, professional
musicians, volunteers, staff, and children.
Terri’s strong communication and business skills enabled her
to become the top selling sales person for a Midwest chain
of piano and organ stores and to build a large teaching
studio, creating award-winning students in Toledo and
currently in Los Angeles.
In addition, Terri has received many awards and scholarships
for academic and performance achievements. She has performed
in numerous orchestral and chamber concerts, solo and
lecture recitals, and played piccolo with the St. Louis
Philharmonic at the age of 19.
